The Georadar in the Evaluation of Reinforced Concrete Structures Affected by Corrosion

Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) is a geophysical method that has several applications in the field of civil engineering, one largest fields being evaluation technical state affected reinforced concrete structures by corrosion. In Cuba, this not been widely used as non destructive test (NDT), largely due to lack knowledge its potential engineering. This article performs critical analysis some investigations which georadar applied evaluate tunnels, bridges and buildings.
